Summary of Events planned for
RDO Day 2010
We will
celebrate our 4th annual RDO Day, Saturday,
September 11, 2010 at Shoaff Park/Conklin
Pavilion from 10:00AM - 3:00 PM. Come out and
join us for a fun and educational day. Over
thirty different dog groups will be on hand to
share info on responsible dog ownership such as
spay and neutering, safety tips concerning
children and dogs, rescuing a dog and dog
training tips. You will have a chance to talk to
breeders, meet their dogs, and learn the pros
and cons of their breed. Watch demonstrations by
K-9 dogs and their police handlers; see dogs
running agility courses, demonstrations in
obedience and even have your child read to a
dog. Learn about therapy dog clubs and how to
get involved. You could even learn how to give
your dog a massage. We will again offer a
discounted micro-chip clinic from 1:00PM-3:00PM.
You can enter a free drawing to win a free
micro-chipping and a chance to win two free
spay/neuterings. Free face painting, free
caricatures drawings of you and/or your dog,
free photos of you and/or your dog and give-aways
from pet stores will also be available. RDO Day
will be held rain or shine. See you there for a
dog-gone good time!
